Description:
Process workers’ compensation claims from start to finish
Conduct full/proper investigation to determine claim compensability
Develop a plan of action for claim/coordinate return-to-work efforts
Filing of appropriate state forms
Assess and post appropriate reserves
Maintain properly documented files
Enter/process medical bills
Schedule IME’s /coordinate with nurse case managers
Complete detailed hearing directive for defense attorney prior to WCB hearings
Coordinate with vendors
Follow claims management guidelines per employer specifications

Experience:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain professional client relationships
Current NYS independent adjuster’s license
Working knowledge of MS Office & Adobe Acrobat
Well versed on NYS workers’ compensation law, as well as all applicable rules and
regulations
