Job Description
Summary/Responsibilities:Outstanding opportunity to join leading global asset management firm as a Sales Desk Manager, with the goal of building long-term relationships with third-party financial advisors and leading development/execution of sales campaigns/strategic initiatives to increase penetration/sales production.
Manage/improve/monitor daily activities/operations of team of 10+ internal wholesalers
Provide ongoing professional development of internal sales team through coaching/business planning/training related to proprietary products/sales process.
Manage communication to promote teamwork between internal marketing/operations/service departments.
Generate original ideas/services that help internal wholesalers strengthen client relationships.
Act as liaison to national sales management/national accounts/marketing/product management to communicate client needs/market trends/competitive information.
Work closely with National Director of Internal Sales to develop and successfully execute firm initiatives.
Requirements:
3-5 years sales management experience required
Series 7 required; Series 66 required within 30 days of hire
Project management and supervisory skills required
Financial industry experience required; prior internal wholesaling experience ideal
MS Office experience required
Required: strong communication skills; compliance/risk awareness; client-orientation; high energy; schedule flexibility; good judgment; leadership skills
