Job Description

VRSI is a full service financial organization offering retirement planning,
investments, annuities, and insurance products through a variety of companies. VRSI
has been providing quality insurance and investment instruments to Teachers for over

This individual will be responsible for 403(b) and 457 enrollments, individual
retirement and investment counseling. Additionally, the candidate must have abilities
to conduct retirement and investment seminars. Qualified candidates must possess the
skills necessary to effectively communicate, schedule and conduct one on one
retirement counseling appointments, recommend and implement investment and insurance
instrument strategies. Be the go to professional for client service issues and
investment and insurance questions.

The ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:
• Strong understanding of the defined contribution market place (403(b) & 457
• Knowledge of rules/regulations around contribution limits, loans, withdrawals,
vesting, and plan documents
• Possesses a Life & Health Insurance Licenses at time of appointment
• Securities registrations – Series 6, 63, 65 are preferred at appointment date.
Although, required within the 1st 120 days of appointment
• Valid Driver’s License
• 2 Years proven sales track record
• Submit to and pass a comprehensive background check
Qualified candidates are expected to have the following skills:
• Territory management and business development
• Relationship building
• Insurance and Investment Instrument knowledge
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Proficient in Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and Word
• True Desire to be involved in a mentor-ship based program geared towards long-
term employment
• College Degree
