Position Responsibilities Serve as a Business Analyst to complement the growing team supporting the Loanet Sigma Series products. The successful candidate should be able to:
Demonstrate a detailed level of knowledge regarding Back Office Brokerage Operations – particularly in the following areas: Stock Record, Customer Protection Rules, 15c3-3 Reserve Computation, Clearance and Settlement and DTC Memo Seg
Communicate productively via written and oral communications with internal staff as well as with customers’ brokerage personnel
Effectively listen to, and discuss customer needs to create detailed business requirements from which the technical staff will develop a solution. Display the capacity to listen to and resolve customer inquiries.
Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and self-manage in a fast-paced environment
Conduct effective testing (unit, integration, system, regression) to ensure successful production implementations.
Provide end-user support and training
Participate in product demonstrations to new customers
Position Requirements Minimum 5 years supporting full life cycle product development including structured analysis and design in the brokerage industry
Production support experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
Bachelor’s Degree in business-related discipline or equivalent work experience
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work as a member of a group
Strong time-management skills
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
The following items are a plus for the position:
Experience with IBM mainframe platforms and/or Micro Focus Net Express
Knowledge of multiple platforms (mainframe, Windows servers)
Experience with common Windows scripting (DOS)
DB2, SQL Server or other database experience
Mentoring, team leadership
