Job Description

Provide leadership and management of small team of asset management professionals, ensuring compliance of loan servicing policies and procedures along with excellent customer relations
Provide managerial direction/leadership to staff through motivation/training/development/direct supervision
Prepare employee performance reviews
Interpret/develop/administer policies & controls
Recommend/implement new processes/procedures and make enhancements to existing procedures in order to improve efficiency/quality of services
Manage day-to-day activities of team to ensure accurate/timely delivery of services
Operational accountability/risk management
Marketing and problem resolution with customers
Interact with senior managers/peers throughout the company
Serve as asset management contact for investors/borrowers/staff
Oversee collection/remittance of payments
Oversee verification/payment of taxes/insurance
Oversee collection of borrower financial reports/reporting to investors
Work with borrowers/lenders to ensure compliance with loan documents
Work as intermediary between borrowers/lenders to handle special requests borrower/lender may have
Reviewing the integrity of data in the loan management system
Other duties/responsibilities as assigned
Ability to work independently on projects and collaborate ‘face to face’ as team player

15+ years loan servicing industry experience (including cash collection/loan portfolio management)
Degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance or related experience/skills required
Prior CMBS experience absolutely required
Previous direct supervisory or management experience required
Ability to manage/motivate a team
Analytical skills and understanding of complex commercial loan documents/borrower financial statements
Excellent reading/comprehension skills and effective written/verbal communication skills
Leadership/ management qualities to effectively oversee the loan servicing departments
Strong organizational/time management skills and ability to multi-task
MS Office skills required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy and ability to work well under deadlines
High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic required
Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
Ability to hire/train/motivate a team within a given budget
