Do not have to be based in LA, but continuous communication and with management and at least bi-
monthly face to face meetings are required.

Company:
Our client creates and manages funds of hedge funds for institutions and high net worth individuals. At
present, its investment strategy is focused on long/short equity hedge funds but may broaden over time.
They have four funds of hedge funds and several separately managed accounts. They currently manage
over $500 million and intend to grow to at least
$1 billion. They seek an experienced, energetic individual to market its portfolio of investment funds.

Responsibilities:
*Proactively identify and call on potential new institutional and high net worth clients, prepare and make
presentations, and follow up on client contacts and leads.
*Support consultant and client servicing relationships and assist in the development and coordination of
marketing programs to consultants, clients and potential clients.
*Develop and deliver effective presentations in support of business development activities (includes
appropriate execution of RFP's) and client service activities.
*Provide leadership to develop and implement systematic and consistent marketing strategy and process.

Experience:
*Must demonstrate a history of current, extensive and broad-based interaction with foundations,
endowments, family offices, pension funds and high net worth individuals (hereafter Investors) as well as
with advisors/consultants to those investors.
*Track record raising money from investors or at least four years experience advising investors on their
asset allocation.
*Knowledge of alternative investments, including the various types of funds of hedge funds.
*Travel extensively to meet with potential investors.
*MBA or CFA is preferred.
