Job Description

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hedge fund accounting and/or derivative accounting experience coming from a CPA firm or fund administration company. The candidate must have excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills- he/she will be supervising a team of administrators, analysts, and Jr. accountants. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Process daily trading activity using a propriety data hub and the Geneva accounting system. - Coordinate a team of at least 2 analysts, providing daily administration for hedge funds or separately-managed accounts. - Set up security records for derivatives and load trades into the system. - Performing trade processing. - Review broker collateral reports for accuracy. - Monitor developments with centralized clearing for swaps and implement changes to process as they become available. - Prepare and/or review hedge fund financial statements. - Communicate with other service providers.


Qualifications
Mandatory minimum qualifications - 3-5 years experience in hedge fund accounting and/or derivative accounting. BS degree in finance, accounting, or mathematics. Must have experience with derivatives MUST HAVE GENEVA EXPERIENCE
