Job Description

Summary: Directs and coordinates activities concerned with buying or selling investment products and financial services for clients of brokerage firm by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Reviews recapitulation of daily transactions to ensure accordance with rules and regulations of government agencies, regulatory bodies, Raymond James, and securities exchanges.
•Develops and implements client seminars on new products and services in order to increase sales volume and establish good will.
•Offer other bank products and services to new and existing customers.
•Coordinate appointments; complete all necessary paperwork, including the deposits into the Raymond James sweep account. All paperwork must be forwarded to the OSJ within 24 hours of the sale.
•Maintain effective relationships with all financial institution branch personnel in assigned territory, holding meetings, answering questions and if necessary get involved in keeping branch personnel involved and/or trained.
•The Financial Advisor is expected to achieve a minimum of fifteen (15) face to face interviews per week.

•The level at which tasks are performed carefully, accurately, and in accordance with specific instructions. Consistency of work quality and compliance with standards, requirements, and expectations. The tracking of numerical data and detailed organizational information, and the careful application of grammar, spelling, and punctuation rules.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.

Math Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Skills:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge.

Certificates and Licenses:
Series 7/63/65. Insurance License –Life and Health. CFP or required minimum within three years.
