Financial Advisor Job Summary Excellent opportunity for motivated individual who thrives in a commission environment. Establish value-added relationships with customers, to understand their financial needs and to offer solutions for those needs.

1. Growing and protecting assets and include the following:
• Funding for a secure retirement
• Funding for child’s or grandchild’s educations
• Growth above inflation and taxes
• Protection of assets from unexpected / large
scale healthcare expense
• Protection of assets from estate taxes
2. Prospecting within the financial institution by
establishing relationships with customer contact
associates to find appropriate customers and
introduce them.
3. Engaging in activities that enable access to
those customers who may not frequently use the
branch system.
4. Prospect outside the financial institution in
order to bring in new customer relationships.
5. Sell effectively by establishing relationships
with customers, finding their needs and then
offering appropriate solutions in a compelling
way so the customer sees the value, understands
the features and benefits and purchases the
6. Engage in relationship management activities so
that relationships are nurtured and expanded,
additional needs are met and friends and
relatives are freely referred.

Financial Advisor Qualifications:
1. NASD Series 7
2. NASD Series 66 (preferably) or Series 63
3. Life and Health Insurance designation
4. Bank based brokerage experience
5. Demonstrated sales skills, and a successful
track record in financial product sales
6. Strong coaching and development abilities
7. Honesty, work ethic and team-orientation.
8. Product knowledge and required skills to execute
the business model outlined above.
9. 3+ years experience in securities sales
10.College degree is preferred
